American European Insurance Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries (“AE”) have developed a Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”) outlining the Company’s response to events that significantly disrupt its business.
AE Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”)
It is AE’s policy to respond to a significant business disruption by safeguarding our employees and Company property, making a financial and operational assessment, quickly recovering and resuming operations to allow us to provide service and transact business with AE agents, claimants and insureds, and protecting Company books and records.
In the event that either Company location (Cherry Hill, NJ, or New York, NY) suffers a catastrophic failure of telecommunications and/or systems, AE will immediately commence appropriate emergency operations.
Our BCP addresses: Data back-up and recovery; all mission critical systems; financial and operational assessments; alternative means of communication with agents, claimants, insureds, employees, regulators and critical business constituents; alternate physical location(s); and, procedures to ensure agent and customer accessibility to claim, policy and payment information.
Our BCP may be revised or amended. If changes are made, an updated summary will be promptly posted on our website, www.aeiginsurance.com.
